NEW FAC-C Training Requirements

Beginning October 1, 2019, NEW Federal Acquisition Certification - Contracting (FAC-C) training requirements take place.  Adopting these new training requirements continues our alignment with Defense Acquisition University’s (DAU) Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Contracting certification program. Visit FAI website for details.

FAC-DITAP

Get your FAC-C-DS! Registration is now open for a 5-month Program at No Charge to the Agency!

FAI is offering 30 seats at no charge for an upcoming five-month Digital IT Acquisition Professional Training Program (DITAP). The DITAP will include all instruction necessary for participants to achieve the FAC-C Digital Services Core-Plus Certification (FAC-C-DS). Over the five-month period (November 2019 through March 2020), instruction will be balanced between multi-day classroom sessions, interactive webinars, and remote activities. The selection criteria will include: minimum FAC-C Level II certification, immediate job needs, course provider online submission (will be emailed to applicants after FAITAS registration), and FAI's desire to have a cross section of agencies represented in the cohort. FAI will make the final selection determination for program seats. For more information on the program, and to apply, please visit FAITAS.

psc

Navigate and Select PSCs Quickly and Accurately with this Tool

The Defense Pricing and Contracting (DPC) Office maintains a Product Service Code (PSC) Selection Tool that is designed to help Contracting Professionals navigate and select PSCs quickly and accurately. This tool allows users to search for the right PSC by keyword search, code search, or using the Federal Government's category management (CM) spend categories. Use of the PSC Tool will assist the procurement and financial management communities in properly representing the good or service being purchased, and thereby improve contract and spend data quality.
