FAI is pleased to announce that FAC 072, FOUNDATIONAL OVERVIEW OF THE ACQUISITION TEAM is now available. This is the first of four interactive cross functional courses that will be made available this year.  FAI would like to thank all of the agencies that participated in the IPT to develop these courses, including OFPP, GSA, DHS, VA, DOI, Treasury, and DAU, as well as the FAI staff and contractor team that supported this great initiative.

This course provides an overview of the acquisition team and the program lifecycle, explains the roles and responsibilities of the primary members of the acquisition team and also discusses the impact of decisions made by the various acquisition team members.  The course is one continuous learning point and the series meets the OMB requirement for cross functional training requirements identified in the Program Management Improvement and Accountability Act.  Review the course description on FAITAS or register for the course on the DAU Virtual Campus.
