FCR 110 is now available!!
FAI is pleased to announce that the online FAC-COR Level I training course, FCR 110, is now available. FCR 110 replaced FCR 100 as FAI’s FAC-COR Level I training. The course is eight continuous learning points, and meets the OFPP required FAC-COR level I training requirements. Review the course description on FAITAS or register for the course on the DAU Virtual Campus.

Changes to FAC-COR Certification Training Options
The Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting Officer’s Representatives (FAC-COR) provides multiple options to meet the training requirements for certification. OFPP has agreed to replace two of the listed modules: CLM 024, Contracting overview and FAC 033, Contract Management: Strategies for Mission Success. These modules are currently listed as part of the FAC-COR levels II and III training options and have been retired. See the details of this change on FAI.Gov or log on to FAITAS and follow the links to the certification application page for additional details.

OFPP Issues 4th Myth-Busting Memo
OFPP published its 4th myth-busting memo with a focus on strengthening communication with industry partners through innovative business practices. The memo promotes awareness of vendor engagement strategies that Federal procurement thought leaders are using to create a more responsive buying process, modernize the acquisition culture, and deliver greater value to the taxpayer.

FAI Releases Two More New Courses!
Two new micro-learning courses for Contracting Professionals are available now on FAITAS. Contract Types (.75 CLPs) will help students develop an understanding of the most common contract types and their basic characteristics; and Price Analysis (.5 CLPs) will help students gain an understanding of the concept of price analysis and the Government's requirement to ensure a fair and reasonable price.
