The Horizon Interactive Awards, a leading international interactive media awards competition, has announced the 2018 award winners to highlight this year’s “best of the best” in interactive media production. Open Source Software Saves Money
The Federal Source Code Policy M-16-21 requires agencies to open source software code, as well as re-use code from other agencies. This mitigates duplicative spending and custom development. To view open source software code from around the government, visit code.gov.

Changes to the Product Service Codes
The General Services Administration (GSA) Integrated Award Environment (IAE) will be implementing system changes to incorporate revisions to the Product Service Codes (PSCs). The PSCs describe the products, services, and research and development items purchased by the federal government, and are used in collecting and analyzing data related to federal procurements.
