FAITAS new course

New Course Available In FAITAS

 A new online course entitled Verifying Offeror or Quoter Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is available now in FAITAS (FAC 067). Contracting Professionals will develop an understanding of the process for verifying an offeror or quoter's registration status in SAM and also recognize the security measures put in place by SAM.gov to ensure that vendor data is valid and safeguarded. Taking this new micro-learning course will earn Contracting Professionals .25 CLPs which will be automatically recorded in FAITAS.

New Acquisition Open Opportunities Community Managers!

We are pleased to announce that Chendra Conklin (Contracting Officer, FirstNet/DOC) and Kelly Lael (Contracting Officer, NIH) will serve as the new Community Managers for Acquisition Open Opportunities (AOO)!  In this role, Chendra and Kelly will help build, grow, and manage the Open Opportunities Acquisition community. Acquisition Open Opportunities is a platform where acquisition professionals can share their knowledge and expertise and gain hands-on learning opportunities while in their current job. The platform advertises “Opportunities” throughout the government to help individuals improve their skill set, share their knowledge, and gain innovative acquisition strategies and techniques. Do You Use WDOL.gov?

The Integrated Award Environment (IAE) is inviting WDOL users to test the new Wage Determinations functions in beta.SAM.gov now before WDOL.gov is decommissioned in June. All of the things you do in WDOL.gov today will be done on beta.SAM.gov in the near future. Please go to beta.SAM.gov today and provide feedback through the feedback tool on the site.
