Contracting Professional Smart Guide Updated

The Contracting Professionals Smart Guide (CPSG) is a resource and job aid for Contracting Professionals that is organized around 51 Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) driven activities. Each activity in the guide lists the tasks involved in performing it, includes flow charts that visually demonstrate the tasks, and provides links to relevant training courses and tools where additional material, resources, and information can be found. FAI is interested in ways to improve the CPSG to make it more useful. Check it out and let us know what you think by providing feedback.

FAI has a fabulous array of free FAC-C, FAC-COR, and FAC-P/PM training available now to the Federal workforce. There is no tuition cost charged to students or their agencies for this training. Need FAC-P/PM Senior Level Training?

The VA Acquisition Academy’s Program Management School is excited to announce the availability of the FAC-P/PM Senior-Level three-course series. These courses meet the FAC-P/PM Senior-Level training requirements.  Each session includes up to four (4) open seats at no-charge for federal agencies in order to promote the exchange of ideas, procedures and processes.  VAAA Senior-Level FAC-P/PM courses: 1) FPM 370 – FAC-P/PM Senior-Level Introduction; 2) FPM 371 – FAC-P/PM Senior-Level Pre-Course Event; 3) FPM 372 – FAC-P/PM Senior-Level Resident Course.  Applicants are required to register via FAITAS. Subcontracting Reports Due October 30th

Reminder for contracting officers! In accordance with FAR clause 52.219-9 Small Business Subcontracting Plan, contractors must file subcontracting reports in the (electronic Subcontracting Reporting System eSRS) no later than October 30, 2018 for the twelve month period ending September 30, 2018.
