Last Chance for FPM 120A or 120B Courses

DAU Is changing Learning Management Systems as of September 24; and FPM 120A & 120B course registrations will be in a black out period for several weeks until testing is complete. If you are a PM and looking to take P/PM entry level courses, now is the time to do so before the transition. Current FPM students will continue to have access to the courses during the blackout period as long as they are signed up before the September 24 deadline. For more information on the new system, FAQs, etc., check out the updated info at FAI.gov. Register for FPM 120A and FPM 120B courses now.

FAI and GWU Form a Partnership

FAI is pleased to announce that is has established a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with George Washington University’s (GWU) Government Procurement Law and Master of Science in Government Contracts (MSGC) programs. The MOU will facilitate collaboration on the development and promotion of acquisition research on a variety of topics. GWU will provide vetted acquisition research papers developed by law and graduate students, and FAI will share that research with the federal acquisition workforce. This partnership will contribute to an increase in learning and development as well as promote innovation to increase efficiencies in current acquisition processes and practices. New Field in FPDS for Hurricane Florence

In order to track acquisition costs associated with Hurricane Florence, a new National Interest Actions (NIA) field has been added in the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS). Effective 9/13/18 through 12/15/18, this new NIA Code will be used strictly for reporting purposes related to Hurricane Florence. For complete information, read the full memo.
