 OMB Program Management/PMIAA Survey
The Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA) was passed in December 2016. The guidance on its implementation was issued by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) on Monday, June 25th. In order to better understand which areas to prioritize in the roll-out of the PMIAA, OMB is conducting a simple, informal survey. This survey is to assess individual responses from many vantage points within and across different agencies. It is NOT meant to capture a single, official enterprise-wide agency response. The anonymous survey consists of 9 questions; 8 demographic type questions and the 1 key question, which is the ranking of the Top 5 areas of Program Management Standards and Principles.  Accelerating Procurement Innovation
OFPP is pleased to share the DHS Procurement Innovation Lab (PIL) first Annual Report, as well as promote the PIL Boot Camp Workbook, a training aid to help its acquisition workforce think creatively as it works to best accomplish the mission and increase awareness of techniques most commonly used on PIL project acquisitions, available soon at www.dhs.gov/PIL. The July 2018 NCMA Contract Management magazine published a progress report on the PIL’s work. OFPP encourages you to share success and lesson learned about your own innovation efforts.
