Hot off the Press - PMIAA Guidelines Released

OMB released Memorandum M-18-19 on June 25, 2018 which establishes the Administration's initial guidance to Federal agencies for implementing the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA).  The guidance outlines a five-year strategic plan that begins the process for establishing a more coordinated and Government-wide approach to strengthen program and project management practices in Federal agencies and improve Government performance.

Cloud Reverse Industry Training

GSA’s Office of the Ombudsman, the FedRamp Program and the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI) Government-wide Program Office have partnered with industry to offer the first government-wide FREE Cloud Reverse Industry Training Event! This is a must-attend training session for acquisition professionals with an interest in cloud adoption or cloud migration! Date: Thursday, June 28, 2018; Time: 9AM ET-1:15PM ET. 4.25 continuous learning points will be awarded in FAITAS; however, you must register in FAITAS prior to the session and validate your attendance by completing the post-training survey. FY18-20 Category Plans Approved - Aligned with PMA

The President’s Management Agenda (PMA) was launched in March 2018, and lays out a long-term vision for modernizing the federal government in key areas that will improve agencies’ delivery of mission outcomes, provide excellent service, and effectively steward taxpayer dollars. To drive these management priorities, the Administration also laid out several Cross-Agency Priority (CAP) Goals to coordinate and publicly track implementation across Federal agencies, in which Category Management was named as one of them. LEARN MORE
