 Cloud Reverse Industry Training
GSA’s Office of the Ombudsman, the FedRamp Program and the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI) Government-wide Program Office have partnered with industry to offer the first government-wide FREE Cloud Reverse Industry Training Event! This is a must-attend training session for acquisition professionals with an interest in cloud adoption or cloud migration! Date: Thursday, June 28, 2018;
Time: 9AM-1:15PM EST. 4.25 continuous learning points will be awarded in FAITAS; however, you must register in FAITAS prior to the session and validate your attendance by completing the post-training survey.  Sustainable Purchasing Survey Closes Tomorrow! (Earn 2 CLPs)
EPA’s Environmentally Preferable Purchasing (EPP) Program is conducting a survey of Federal purchasers to understand the level of awareness and use of EPA’s Recommendations of Specifications, Standards, and Ecolabels. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 23.703 directs federal agencies to maximize the utilization of environmentally preferable products and services based on this guidance. There is a newly designated Best-in-Class solution now available for IT related acquisitions- Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions and Network Universal and Enterprise (jointly referred to as EIS)!  Impact of the Defense Base Act Requirement
The Professional Services Category is hosting a Spotlight webinar for contracting officers to understand the Defense Base Act (DBA) – including who has the authority to determine if it applies to a contract or not, what drives its costs and how the language of the government’s contracts influences that cost.
