FAI's newsletter "FAI Today" has merged with the Office of Procurement Policy (OFPP)'s newsletter and the new publication will be called "Acquisition Today".  

Micro going up

Micro-Purchase and Simplified Acquisition Thresholds are Going Up!

Did you hear that the micro-purchase threshold is increasing from $3,500 to $10,000 and the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT) is increasing from $150,000 to $250,000? You won’t see these changes in the FAR just yet, but FAR Case 2018-004 has been opened. In the meantime, if agencies plan to use the increased thresholds prior to the publication of the FAR change, they will need to use a class deviation.
