 FAI Presents a New Series of GSA Training Videos
In support of the U.S. General Services Administration, FAI has added a great series of videos to its Media Library, Buying Services Through GSA Schedules.
The series covers all of the services that are available through GSA’s Multiple Award Schedule program, including how to find them and the procedures and requirements that apply when ordering services.

 Invest A Little Time, Your Opinion Counts
The FY18 Acquisition Workforce Competency Survey (AWCS) is open. Please take a few moments to complete the survey that was emailed to you.
The AWCS seeks to identify the strengths and priority training needs of the acquisition workforce, both at the agency level and across the federal acquisition community.
The AWCS will be open through Friday, November 17th, and will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. All participants that complete the AWCS will automatically be awarded one Continuous Learning Point (CLP) if they are maintaining a certification within FAITAS.

 Join the HCaTS Community of Practice Today
In the HCaTS Community of Practice (CoP), customers will have access to online resources that will allow them to utilize the HCaTS Contracts for maximum impact to their human capital work to drive agency results. The CoP connects the human capital community to human capital experts and to templates, tools, best practices, and lessons learned. The HCaTS CoP is now live on the Human Capital Hallway through the Resources button and the official Launch Party will be Tuesday, Nov. 14, from 1:30-2:15 p.m. (EST). FAI maintains a large media library of acquisition learning assets, each ranging in length from 10 minutes to a few hours. We are looking for self starters, with acquisition knowledge, who can help us sort through the learning assets and review the materials to ensure that they are current and accurate. This will be an ongoing task over the next six months. Whether you can review only a few items or many, we welcome the support!  Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces
Effective November 6, 2017 the Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces Rule was removed according to FAR Case 2014-025. For more information see the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-96) published in the Federal Register 11/6/17.
