2023 Feds Feed Families - Now Through September 30

The Feds Feed Families (FFF) summer campaign is here. The generosity of FAA was evident last year in the more than  8 millions pounds of food donated during the 2022 FFF campaign  – and we need your help again this year!

What is Feds Feeds Families? Feds Feed Families (FFF) is a volunteer food drive that encourages employees across the Federal Government to contribute food, service, and/or time, to food banks and pantries of your choice. Your contributions help food banks and pantries during the summer, when demand is high, and supply is low.

How can I participate?  The 2023 FFF campaign takes place through September 30, and there are several easy ways for you to participate:

  • Donate Food in Person or Online: Find a food pantry or food bank and drop off food donations or purchase groceries online and have them delivered. Record your donation using the Record Donations Form.
  • Volunteer on Your Own Time: Participate in activities outside the office, such as plant-a-row by harvesting and donating produce from neighborhood gardens and trees. Glean on farms or gardens, volunteering at a food bank, or serving at a feeding program. Record your participation using the Record Donations Form.
  • Contribute through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC): Consider donating to a food bank or food pantry through the CFC  giving season. Record your participation using the Record Donations Form.
  • Visit the: USDA Feds Feed Families hub, where you can make virtual donations and learn more about how to get involved, plan and promote volunteer activities, report contributions online, and see weekly updates on donations from across the Federal Government.

    • FAA HQ 1st floor on entryway by Facilities office

Your Contribution Makes a Difference! However you choose to participate, record your donation to contribute to DOT’s goal of donating 100,000 pounds.
