The Valuing Performance (VP) Program is Migrating to PMAS!
If you manage Non-BUEs and/or Subordinate Manager(s) this change will impact you however if you manage only BUEs in the Pass/Fail performance program, this migration has no impact.
Starting October 1, 2022, Valuing Performance (VP) program documentation will be performed in the PMAS tool rather than VPS beginning with the FY23 performance cycle. The key tenants of the VP Program will not change. For the first time in FAA’s history all Non-BUEs, all BUEs, and all non-Executive Managers will be using the same performance management system.
The FY22 VP Performance Cycle will still close out using VPS. This means for a short period of time you will be using two (2) systems for your Performance Management Responsibilities, VPS (to close out FY22 Final Ratings) & PMAS (to create FY23 performance plans).
We will be conducting corporate training for managers on this new system per the schedule below. In the interim we suggest you contact your LOB/SO PM Admin for a PMAS Demo Video, copy of the Basic PMAS FAQs, and/or the PMAS Flyer. Job Aids, Mini-Videos and Web-Based Training through eLMS are all forthcoming.
