Subject: FAA Reasonable Accommodation Training Requirement

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has seen an increase in reasonable
accommodation requests in the recent weeks as employees prepare to return to the office. With the influx of requests, it is vital that managers have an understanding of their roles and responsibilities in the reasonable accommodation process.

The Office of Civil Rights has developed a new reasonable accommodation training titled “Let’s Talk About Reasonable Accommodation!” This training is a live virtual training that walks managers through the entire reasonable accommodation process.

The “Let’s Talk About Reasonable Accommodations!” training (ID #FAA30200210) will
be assigned to all managers in the eLearning Management System. FAA managers are
required to complete this mandatory training within 60 days.

Regularly scheduled trainings are held every Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. ET and Thursday at 1:00 p.m. ET, through the end of May.

Please direct any questions that you have about training requirements to the Center of
Excellence for EEO Learning at 9-ASO-Civil-Rights@faa.gov.

Questions relating to reasonable accommodations may be directed to Michael Looney at Michael.F.Looney@faa.gov.

Thank you for your support in completing this important initiative.
