Greetings FAA Employees,
Thank you for your continued patience as we further refine the process for employees to request an exception from the federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate. The attest.faa.gov application has been updated to ensure the uniform collection of required information and transparent adjudication of all related accommodation requests.
Beginning January 3, 2022, employees with a pending accommodation request will need to login to attest.faa.gov and update their record. They will have 30 days to provide the required information supporting their request. A step-by-step user guide walks employees through the process. Note that the attest.faa.gov app is currently available for use, should an employee choose to complete their request earlier.
If an employee fails to update their accommodation request by February 2, 2022, their request will be denied. Employees who are denied an accommodation request are required to become compliant with Executive Order 14043. Failure to comply with Executive Order 14043 may result in disciplinary action up to and including removal from federal service.
In Partnership,
Annie B. Andrews Assistant Administrator for Human Resource Management
