Upcoming Webinars: New Annual Reporting Database

Reminder! The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) State and Alternative Fuel Provider Fleet Program is hosting a webinar to demonstrate the new annual reporting database:

Login details for the webinar are below. If you attended the webinar in September, you do not need to participate in this webinar. A recording of the September webinar is available on the reporting Standard Compliance page of the EPAct Transportation Regulatory Activities website.

This new database simplifies the Energy Policy Act of 1992 (EPAct) Standard Compliance annual reporting process and gives fleets easier access to their previously submitted annual reports and banked credits. DOE encourages fleets to use the new tool to file model year 2012 Standard Compliance annual reports, which are due no later than Dec. 31, 2012. During this 90-minute webinar, you will learn how to:

  • Log in to the new database
  • Review fleet information and data
  • Enter your fleet's Standard Compliance annual data
  • Submit your Standard Compliance annual report
  • Use new features.

To access your reports, log in to the annual reporting tool.

Feel free to explore the new reporting database. Your login information from the old database will continue to work. New users can click "Get Started" to create an account. Although DOE strongly encourages online reporting, fleets that prefer not to use the reporting tool may submit their annual reports via the new reporting spreadsheet. Learn more about both options for reporting Standard Compliance.

What Is EPAct?
The Energy Policy Act of 1992 (EPAct) was passed by Congress to reduce the nation's dependence on imported petroleum. Provisions of EPAct require certain fleets to acquire AFVs. DOE administers these requirements through its EPAct Alternative Fuel Transportation Program, Federal Fleet Requirements, and Alternative Fuel Designation Authority.

For more information, visit the EPAct Transportation Regulatory Activities website or contact the Regulatory Information Line at 202-586-9171 or regulatory.info@nrel.gov.
