Energy Literacy Stakeholders,

My two years of fellowship has come to an end and today is my last day at the Department of Energy. I look forward to continuing this important work from outside DOE. Please feel free to contact me at, inmanm@einsteinfellows.org, at anytime, now or in the future. You may also contact my successor, DaNel Hogan, at, danel.hogan@ee.doe.gov. I've been working closely with DaNel over the last nine months and know you will find her delightful and competent.

Update on Energy Literacy:
On June 11th I announced that hard copies of, Energy Literacy: Essential Principles and Fundamental Concepts for Energy Education, are now available. Since that time, nearly 300 individuals and organizations have requested more than 3,000 copies of the document. In just the next four months, the guide will be used for multiple educator workshops, courses of many different types, and for curriculum authoring and alignment work. The response and the uses to which the guide is being put is very encouraging and exciting.

Here is the ordering information once again:

Up to five copies can be requested from the web site. Go to, http://www1.eere.energy.gov/education/energy_literacy.html, and choose, "Request a copy by mail." If you would like more than five copies, contact DaNel at, danel.hogan@ee.doe.gov, and she will have them sent out to you. A pdf version of the guide can also be downloaded from the website above.

Thank you for continuing to be a part of this important work,

Matthew Maguire Inman
