PV Test Beds Made Available

DOE issued the Validation of Photovoltaic Modules and Systems technical assistance opportunity to provide third-party validation for market-ready technologies. Recipients will have access to three regional test centers (RTCs) for performance assessment, quality testing, degradation rate analysis, and reliability studies. 

Advocacy Group Forms for CSP

Three leading U.S. concentrating solar power (CSP) companies have joined forces to launch the Concentrating Solar Power Alliance. This group will vocalize the benefits of solar thermal energy and promote policies that encourage increased CSP deployment.

Deadline Extended for $2/Watt RFI
