Public Input Informs Future OpportunitiesThe SunShot Initiative has announced two opportunities for researchers, policymakers, financiers, and solar professionals to give DOE their feedback through a request for information (RFI).
Responses to these RFIs must be submitted by March 28 and April 6, 2012, respectively. Small Business Grant WebinarOn Monday, March 19, DOE will host a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs webinar on grant opportunities for a range of renewable energy technologies as well as buildings and advanced manufacturing. The Solar Program, which is seeking proposals aligned with SunShot Initiative goals, will present topics of interest and respond to questions. Participants are encouraged to register in advance. SunShot Profile: Fellow HighlightCarmen Cioc does not shy away from a challenge. This SunShot Junior Fellow, who is helping to lead the SBIR/STTR webinar mentioned above, is pursuing her second master's degree and working to make solar energy a viable economic solution that is accessible to everyone. |
