Regional Innovation Strategies (RIS) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
Geared toward industry
partners, the four new webinars will take place throughout June and join the previously
announced general session RIS webinar scheduled for Thursday, June 14,
2018 (3:00-4:00 pm EDT). Please register

hosted by SSTI on June 14th, 3:00-4:00 pm EDT, this webinar will provide relevant information
for organizations focused on science- and technology-based economic development.
Business Incubators and
Accelerators –
hosted by the International Business Incubator Association on June 19th,
12:00-1:00 pm EDT, this webinar will provide relevant
information for organizations that are practicing a wide array of business
incubation and acceleration programing supporting high-growth entrepreneurship.
Community Colleges and Rural
Entrepreneurship Programs –
hosted by EDA and joined by the National Association of Community College
Entrepreneurship and the Rural Community Assistance Partnership on June 19th,
1:00-2:00 pm EDT, this webinar will provide unique insight to
communities working to drive high-growth, entrepreneurship-based economic
development in rural areas and community college.
Early-Stage Venture Funds and
Angel Groups –
hosted by EDA on June 26 at 4:00 p.m. EDT, this webinar will provide specific insights
for organizations working to increase access to capital through new and
expanded equity investment funds, angel or investor network support and
education, and execute similar strategies that result in developing a region’s
equity funding resources.
