Tomorrow (Tuesday, Aug. 21) from noon to 3 p.m. ET, the U.S. Department of Education will host a webinar for potential applicants for the Race to the Top-District grant competition.
The "Overview of the Race to the Top – District Competition" webinar will include two parts and will last approximately three hours:
-- Part 1 will last approximately 90 minutes and will include an overview of the Race to the Top – District competition, including the Notice Inviting Applications, eligibility requirements, and selection criteria.
-- After a 15 minute break, Part 2 will last approximately 60 minutes and will include a detailed discussion of completing the application and time for questions.
To register for the webinar, please complete the registration form. Please note that space is limited and preference will be given to school districts. In addition, we request participants from a single entity to participate in one location.
This is an opportunity for small rural school districts to apply in consortia for federal support of their school reform efforts. Click here for more details.
