Rethink Work-Based Learning: Connecting Education and the Economy

The U.S. Department of Education is hosting a virtual event with employers, educators, and other stakeholders to chart a path for Work-Based Learning (WBL) expansion on November 10th at 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. EST.

Speakers will include U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos, U.S. Secretary of Labor Eugene Scalia, Assistant Secretary of Career, Technical, and Adult Education Scott Stump, Society for Human Resource Management President and CEO Johnny Taylor, as well as several companies that provide WBL opportunities to high school students.
