Tribal Transit Program Illustrative Apportionment Table is Available

As part of our ongoing efforts to bring you timely information on  changes to the Tribal Transit Program as a result of MAP-21 which modifies the Tribal Transit Program and provides $25 million for a formula allocation and $5 million for a discretionary allocation in each of fiscal years 2013 and 2014, FTA has published an illustrative apportionment table to show estimated allocations to Indian tribes by formula (Table 14) at http://www.fta.dot.gov/12308_14875.html.   Please be reminded that the proposals and provisions outlined in our November 9,  2012 Federal Register Notice and the publishing of the illustrative table are subject to consultation.  We urge you to comment to the docket as outlined in the Federal Register Notice.  You may access the notice on  FTA’s website: http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2012-11-09/pdf/2012-27458.pdf.   Please refer to the notice for instruction on how to submit comments to docket (number FTA-2012-0054).  Please make submit ALL comments regarding the  November 9^th FRN and the Illustrative Apportionment to the Docket by January 7, 2013.
