The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) has released a Special Notice on SAM.gov soliciting Statements of Interest for the upcoming USDOT Roadway Safety Innovation Expo. For priority consideration, Statements of Interest must be received by 5:00 PM ET Friday, June 12, 2026.
This one-day immersive event at USDOT Headquarters in Washington, DC, will showcase high-impact, innovative technologies and solutions for improving roadway safety.
Forward this notice to any members, colleagues, or networks who can showcase innovative transportation safety products, solutions, technologies, and tools that offer real-world applications. Demonstrations should address critical safety challenges in a broad range of areas including:
- Nighttime visibility
- Pedestrian safety
- Work zone safety
- Modular intersections
- Roadway departure countermeasures (mode-specific focus area)
