FTA is reminding the transit industry of the Public Transportation Safety Certification Training Program (PTSCTP) semi-annual reporting period. The Points of Contact (POCs) identified by State Safety Oversight Agencies (SSOAs) and Rail Transit Agencies (RTAs) must report the required information to FTA between July 1, 2025 and July 31, 2025. POCs are encouraged to use the reporting form to submit the required information. 

• PTSCTP Semi-Annual Reporting Form 

The PTSCTP regulation requires POCs to report the following to FTA semi-annually: (1) The current list of designated participants for PTSCTP at the agency, and (2) The course(s) the agency has identified as required recertification training for PTSCTP designated participants. 

FTA published frequently asked questions (FAQs) to help facilitate the reporting process. The FAQs provide information on PTSCTP enrollment procedures, the level of detail required for course information reporting and more.
