APPLY NOW: FEMA Transit Security Grant Program

Applications for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Transit Security Grant Program (TSGP)  are now open until 5:00pm ET on May 18, 2023. The grant program provides funding to eligible public transportation systems to promote sustainable, risk-based efforts to protect critical transportation infrastructure and the traveling public from acts of terrorism.

For fiscal year 2023, the TSGP will award $93 million to eligible public transit systems. These funds may be used to update emergency management and security plans that are referenced in an Agency Safety Plan.
