NOW AVAILABLE: FTA’s Fiscal Year 2023 Safety Training Schedule

The FTA-sponsored Transportation Safety Institute (TSI) Public Transportation Safety Training schedule for Fiscal Year 2023 is now available. The training schedule includes courses delivered by the TSI that are both instructor-led and self-guided. Priority registration for Public Transportation Safety Certification Training Program (PTSCTP) designated State Safety Oversight Agency (SSOA) and Rail Transit Agency (RTA) participants starts August 23, 2022. General registration opens September 1, 2022.

Safety training plays an important role in creating safer transit systems across America. These courses can be used by SSOAs and RTAs to meet applicable PTSCTP training requirements.

FTA encourages stakeholders to review the training schedule and consider planning for their annual training needs.
