The Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) Oversight and Project Selection (TOPS) Commission is soliciting letters of interest from people who wish to serve on the Commission. Commission members identify research priorities to address practical questions facing public transportation practitioners and provide overall program guidance to TCRP staff.
TCRP provides research and studies that help the public transportation industry develop innovative solutions through new technologies and approaches. Members serve three-year terms and fulfill oversight duties through participation in virtual and in-person meetings. Their primary role is to select projects to be undertaken by TCRP and provide oversight and evaluation of the program. Expenses for program participants are covered by the program.
Please provide a letter of interest and a biographical sketch to Danielle Barba at dbarba@apta.com by Friday, April 15, 2022. Successful candidates will be well-established leaders in public transportation and related fields who can help fulfill the diversity of subject expertise necessary for program oversight and direction.
FTA sponsors TCRP to develop and apply innovative solutions to help meet the demands placed on the nation’s public transit systems.
