New FTA Frequently Asked Questions Related to CDC Mask Requirement

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is working closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other federal agencies to provide guidance to the public transportation industry in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency. On January 29, 2021, the CDC issued an Order requiring the wearing of masks by travelers to prevent spread COVID-19.

 

Today, FTA posted four new Frequently Asked Question (FAQs) regarding the CDC Order’s disability mask exemption and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
