FTA Sample Agency Safety Plan Available & Reminder on April 30 Deadline for Voluntary ASP Reviews
The Federal Transit Administration sent this bulletin at 03/05/2020 02:15 PM ESTFTA has published a Sample Small Public Transportation Provider Agency Safety Plan as a reference tool for how small transit providers can address minimum requirements in the Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP) regulation (49 CFR Part 673). This sample plan was developed using FTA’s PTASP Template for Bus Transit and the PTASP Template for Bus Transit Reference Tool.
In addition to the available PTASP resources, the PTASP Technical Assistance Center offers voluntary reviews of your draft Agency Safety Plan (ASP). Submit your plan via email, at PTASP-TAC@dot.gov by April 30, 2020. The PTASP TAC will review your ASP and provide feedback and ongoing technical assistance, as needed, to help your agency meet the compliance deadline.
