Register for the Transit Asset Management (TAM) Webinar: TAM Workforce Planning and Development (February 12)

FTA will host a webinar from 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET Wednesday, February 12, 2020 to discuss how two agencies are planning for TAM related workforce needs.

The webinar will feature presentations from Denise Longley, Deputy Executive Officer of Enterprise Asset Management/Risk, Safety and Asset Management for LA Metro, Randy Lamm, Director of Enterprise Transit Asset Management/Risk, Safety & Asset Management for LA Metro, and Lou Cripps, Senior Manager for Asset Management at Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD). Denise and Randy will focus on a workforce estimating tool for state of good repair (SGR) projects. Lou will discuss highlights from the “Building an Asset Management Team” guide that he recently co-wrote with Ruth Wallsgrove.

The TAM Workforce Planning webinar is part of a larger webinar series FTA is hosting in 2020 to address important topics relating to TAM. TAM is an essential practice for providing safer, more reliable transit service nationwide while helping lower operating costs.

Registration for the Using TAM Workforce Planning webinar is available on a first-come, first-served basis and will be open to the first 500 participants. The webinar will be recorded and made available on the FTA TAM webpage.
