Announcement of New Tribal Transit Program Manager

Effective July 22^nd, Amy Fong is FTA’s Tribal Transit Program Manager. She can be reached at Amy.fong@dot.gov or 1-(202)-366-0876. She is based in FTA’s Office of Program Management in Washington, D.C.. Tribal liaisons in FTA’s regional offices remain the first point of contact for current or potential recipients when developing grant applications or while using TTP funds. A list of FTA Regional Tribal Liaisons can be found on the Tribal Transit web page.

The Tribal Transit Program includes a competitive grant program as well as a formula program.  Funds are provided through the Formula Grants for Rural Areas program to federally recognized tribes to provide public transportation services that allow tribal members and the general public to access needed services such as health care, employment, education, and recreation.
