Register for NTI's State and Metropolitan Transportation Programming Course (May 13-15)
The Federal Transit Administration sent this bulletin at 04/24/2019 02:06 PM EDTThe National Transit Institute (NTI) will sponsor a course on state and metropolitan transportation programming May 13-15, 2019 in Baltimore, MD. The course provides insights and tools designed to help planners and programmers improve the multimodal nature of the programming process.
This course includes typical legal, political, and traditional process constraints, as well as aspects of local programming. The concepts presented in the course are reinforced using examples of noteworthy agency practices to help practitioners advance those approaches in their planning and programming activities.
The course will benefit transportation professionals responsible for the programming processes required under the federal transportation planning regulations. This includes a broad audience of state DOTs, MPOs, regional planning organizations, transit agencies and USDOT staff.
FTA sponsors NTI to develop and apply innovative solutions to help meet the demands placed on the nation’s public transit systems.
