FTA Posts 2017 Certifications and Assurances and Master Agreement
The Federal Transit Administration sent this bulletin at 12/20/2016 09:42 AM ESTFTA’s 2017 Certifications and Assurances (C&As) and Master Agreement are available and have been posted to FTA’s website. The Certifications and Assurances have also been loaded into TrAMS and published in the Federal Register. Your organization may now review and PIN its FY 2017 C&As.
Recipients applying for federal assistance under any of FTA’s competitive capital programs (e.g., New Starts, Small Starts, or Core Capacity Improvement) or formula programs, are expected to PIN their FY 2017 C&As within 90 days from the date they are published in the Federal Register -- December 20, 2016. If applying for an alternate program, e.g., Research, Development, Demonstration, and Deployment assistance, FTA expects organizations to PIN the FY 2017 C&As with their grant submission or an amendment soon thereafter.
The C&As will remain available in TrAMS throughout FY 17, should recipients need to revise their C&As. To PIN C&As, your official and attorney must create a new PIN for use in TrAMS. See our quick-reference presentations on setting up a PIN and How to PIN Certifications and Assurances or refer to the TrAMS User Guide. Recipients experiencing technical difficulties can contact the TrAMS HELP desk or 1-877-561-7466.
This message is being distributed to officials, attorneys, and points of contact for grants. If you serve in more than one of those roles, you will receive multiple notifications.
