FTA: Update on TrAMS FFRs and MPRs Task Launch
The Federal Transit Administration sent this bulletin at 04/01/2016 05:17 PM EDTUpdate on TrAMS FFRs and MPRs Task Launch
On April 1, 2016 the Transit Award Management System (TrAMS) issued tasks to recipient users to complete their Federal Financial Reports (FFR), Milestone Progress Reports (MPR), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise reports. FTA is aware that a number of recipient users received an inordinate number of emails and tasks associated with organizations other than their own (e.g. State DOTs who have access rights to other organizations).
We are aware of the situation and we are working to make corrections before the next reporting period. In the interim:
-
If you received these tasks in error because you are not responsible for completing these reports, you may ignore the tasks. These tasks were also sent to those responsible for completing the reports, and once they have completed the reporting, the tasks will fall off your task list. We are working to remove the tasks as part of the user role correction as well.
-
If you are a traditional annual reporter who received quarterly reporting tasks, you may ignore the MPR and FFR tasks. However you should notify your FTA representative about which grants require an adjustment from quarterly to annual so the frequency can be modified in the system. They will be changed prior to the next quarterly reporting cycle (those tasks launch on July 1).
-
If you inappropriately received this task to report for your own organization, or if you expected to receive the task, and did not, please contact your agency User Manager to adjust your user roles. If you do not have a User Manager for your agency, please coordinate with your FTA Local Security Manager to establish one.
-
Please watch for postings to the TrAMS webpage for updates.
- FTA is also working on a format to help recipients manage their tasks, particularly for recipients with a large number of open awards. Please stay tuned as we work on these corrections and enhancements to TrAMS.
We appreciate your cooperation and patience on our first reporting launch.
