The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Program is pleased to share three upcoming TIM-related webinars:

Crash Responder Safety Week (CRSW) All States Planning webinar takes place Wednesday, August 14 at 3 p.m. ET. This webinar will focus on multiple CRSW outreach strategies, including mass training and mass media outreach. All traffic incident response disciplines and agencies' communications and public information offices are invited to take part. The webinar will conclude with a roll call by state for agencies to share their CRSW plans.

TIM Self-Assessment Tool webinar takes place Tuesday, August 20 at 2 p.m. ET. The TIM Self-Assessment (TIMSA) provides a formal process for State and local transportation, public safety, and private sector partners to collaboratively assess their TIM programs and identify opportunities for improvement. This webinar will demonstrate new TIMSA tool features, highlight previous TIMSA results, and share the year 2024 TIMSA completion date range.

Talking TIM webinar takes place Wednesday, August 28 at 1:30 p.m. ET. This webinar focuses on incentivized towing programs. Representatives from multiple states will share how their programs for rapid incident scene clearance have evolved with regard to geographic coverage, incentives, equipment requirements, response and clearance time requirements, and activation protocols.
