FHWA is taking nominations for the 2022 Build a Better Mousetrap

Build a Better Mousetrap is a national recognition program highlighting how state, local and Tribal agencies are using homegrown, innovative solutions to support their transportation programs. FHWA Local Aid Support team in the Office of Transportation Workforce Development and Technology Deployment is accepting nominations for Build a Better Mousetrap through June 10. Previous winners have developed mobile apps, truck attachments, centerline markers, beaver pipe cages, and a portable electric training system. Ideas are everywhere, share yours TODAY!

An informational webinar for Build a Better Mousetrap is planned for tomorrow, Wednesday, May 11th at 2:00pm EST. We will hear from some of the past winners, share marketing ideas to encourage applications, and provide information on how to work with your Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) Centers to complete a nomination packet.
