The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Program invites you to register for the Talking TIM webinar on Wednesday, June 23,  from 1:30 - 3:30 PM ET. Learn how unmanned aerial systems (UAS) can improve responder safety, situational awareness, and quick incident clearance. This webinar features:

  • Delaware Department of Transportation (DOT) Small UAS (sUAS) Program Dwayne Day, Homeland Security Planner and sUAS Program Manager at Delaware DOT, will highlight how the agency collaborates with State and local partners to support a range of operational needs.
  • Utah DOT Incident Response Unit UAS Program Ben Goddard, the Incident Management Supervisor for the Utah DOT, will explain how they improves queue monitoring and on-scene responder situational awareness with UAS.
  • UAS Incident Deployment in Chula Vista, California Lt. Miriam Foxx, UAS Manager and Strategic Operations Lieutenant at Chula Vista Police Department, will highlight how UAS helps the agency get the right resources to the scene more quickly and supports their on-scene work once they arrive, thereby improving public and responder safety.
