BTS’ New Web Feature: The Week in Transportation
Wednesday, May 6, 2020 – The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) today unveiled a new web feature – The Week in Transportation – presenting weekly updates of selected transportation measures.
The Week in Transportation will be updated weekly on Tuesday afternoon
Current topics shown on The Week in Transportation:
Aviation:
- U.S. Total Commercial Flights
- People Screened at Airports
Maritime:
- Maritime Activity Near Top 10 Ports
Border Crossings at Niagara Falls
- Trucks
- Buses
- Passenger Vehicles
Public Transit
- Ridership in New York, Washington, D.C. and the San Francisco Bay Area.
The selected measures are provisional indicators of transportation activity and have not been reviewed for representativeness or other aspects of statistical quality. New measures will be added as they become available.
