Job Summary:
BLS is the principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics. The BLS is an independent national statistical agency that collects, processes, analyzes, and disseminates essential statistical data to the American public, the U.S. Congress, other Federal agencies, State and local governments, business and labor. The BLS also serves as a statistical resource to the DOL. This position is being advertised within the Employment Research and Program Development Staff (ERPDS) of the office of Employment and Unemployment Statistics (OEUS). Intermittent cut off dates for this announcement are : January 18, 2013; February 1, 2013; February 15, 2013; March 1, 2013; March 15, 2013; March 29, 2013; April 12, 2013; April 26, 2013; May 10, 2013.
