New 2025 Summer Fellowship Program Now Accepting Applications: Share with Your Peers
Are you a current or recent Ph.D. student? We are seeking curious, innovative individuals to join our office for our fourth annual Summer Fellowship Program. As a Summer Fellow, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience related to your field of study, gain exposure to DOL’s agencies, and complete and present an independent research project on a topic relevant to your dissertation or determined in collaboration with CEO. Questions? Register to attend an information session scheduled for October 30 and November 19.

Moving Research Forward: Staff Spotlight
Evan Murphy is an Evaluation Specialist at CEO. His evaluation portfolio focuses broadly on employment and training, including reentry programs, workforce development programs, and unemployment insurance. He also supports the development of CLEAR.
In addition to his research responsibilities, Evan also oversees the CEO Summer Fellowship Program. His favorite part about the program is providing an opportunity for Summer Fellows to learn about a potential career in federal research and evaluation.
