CEO publishes new reports, briefs, resources and data sets to support labor programs and policymaking throughout the year. Learn more about selected evidence products, below:

Sectoral Training

A new report on the America's Promise Job-Driven Grant program shows that employment and earnings for participants increased in the two years following enrollment in the program. Read more about the effects on participants' employment outcomes in the research brief, The Impact of the America's Promise Sectoral Training Partnerships.

Youth Workforce Services

A recent study related to DOL's behavioral insights efforts focused on enhancing young adult workforce service engagement and completion. The study design used text messages to engage with youth and found these text messages increased the number of workforce services started and completed by youth. Transitioning Service Members

A new report on the effectiveness of the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) found that program participants experienced higher rates of employment and retention than non-participants and also earned less than non-participants. Find out more in the TAP Impact Evaluation Report.

Moving Research Forward: Staff Spotlight

Dr. Tara Martin is an Evaluation Specialist at CEO. Her portfolio includes oversight of complex administrative data research projects focused on a broad range of worker protection and enforcement topics. She has published in peer-reviewed journals on topics including reentry challenges and crime victimization, and has conducted program evaluations related to crime prevention.

Tara recommends reviewing the synthesis reports from CLEAR for a topic of interest (i.e. child labor) to quickly learn about effective labor programs and policies. As a new addition to CEO, Tara is excited to leverage data to help improve worker protection efforts. When she’s not working, she enjoys hiking new trails.
