Empowering Women: Navigating Health Protections Throughout Your Career Webcast
September 27, 2023, 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm EDT
The Department’s Women’s Bureau, Employee Benefits Security Administration and Wage and Hour Division will host a collaborative webinar exploring the intersection of women’s health protections throughout their career journeys. This webinar will address the unique health challenges faced by women at different stages of their careers, focusing on early career, mid-career, and those nearing retirement.
The speakers will cover a wide range of topics, including the challenges women face and the importance of health benefits and protections, preventive care services, maternity care, work-life balance, pregnancy discrimination laws, cancer protections, and mental health benefits.
In addition to providing help to address these challenges, there will also be information on resources available to help women make informed decisions regarding their health and well-being. Additionally, the webinar will provide insight into how organizations can create a healthier work environment for women. This is a great opportunity to learn about protections and resources to help women care for themselves as well as their families. We hope you will join us.
