Verify Your Identity in ECOMP

To: Registered/Unverified ECOMP Users

Thank you so much for registering to use our Employees' Compensation Operations & Management Portal (ECOMP) to access your claims under the Federal Employees’ Compensation Act (FECA).   We noticed you haven’t verified your identity in ECOMP yet.

Although you have registered to use ECOMP, until you have verified your identity, your access to information is very limited. Verified users can file new forms or access existing case details, including medical and pharmacy benefit information.

We would like to provide some assistance in verifying your identity, so that you can fully experience all of the features of ECOMP, such as the ability to receive and respond to DOL letters electronically and without the hassle of having to leave your home.  You can also see every detail about your case file, and later this year you will be able to review all of the documents in your case, also without having to leave your home.

To take advantage of all these features, there are three identity verification options you can qualify for: text message code, phone call code, and credit bureau questions.

The attached document will walk you through how to verify your identity. We look forward to you doing so, so that you can fully access all of ECOMP’s features.
