 Redesigned OSHA Webpages
OSHA has redesigned its State Plans, Enforcement, and Law and Regulations webpages. The State Plans webpage features an interactive U.S. map with new jurisdictional information, contact information, links to the 28 State Plan webpages, and information on states under federal OSHA jurisdiction. The Enforcement page includes information on OSHA's inspection process, a listing of OSHA's national and local emphasis programs, and letters of interpretation. The Law and Regulations page has been updated with a keyword search function and other features to make it easier for users to find relevant OSHA standards and related information.

OSHA has issued a QuickCard in English and Spanish on safe work practices in poultry processing.

 OSHA Poster in Cebuano
OSHA's "Job Safety and Health - It's the Law" poster is now available in the Cebuano language of the Philippines. The OSHA poster is also available in Arabic, Chinese, Haitian Creole, Korean, Nepali, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.

Heat Exposure Infographic
CPWR (The Center for Construction Research and Training) developed an infographic on how workers can protect themselves against heat exposure. The infographic is available in English and Spanish.

Opioid Use in the Workplace
NIOSH has issued a new webpage called NIOSH's Response to Opioid Use in the Workplace. NIOSH is developing solutions to help workers and employers facing this epidemic in their communities.
Air-Purifying Respirators
NIOSH has issued a guide to air-purifying respirators. The guide includes information on filtering facepiece respirators, elastomeric half facepiece respirators, elastomeric full facepiece respirators, and powered air-purifying respirators.

FACE Reports and Products
The
NIOSH Fatality Assessment and Control Evaluation (FACE) Program conducts
investigations on workplace fatalities to identify the factors that contributed
to these fatal injuries. This information is used to develop comprehensive
recommendations for preventing similar deaths. The NIOSH FACE Program issued the following reports and products from

CPWR Resources for the Construction Industry
Material Handling: CPWR (The Center for Construction Research and Training) developed a program called Best Built Plans to provide construction contractors and workers with practical tools and information to plan for safe material handling while staying productive. The materials include two "Lift Coach" game apps.
Opioids: CPWR has new resources on opioid deaths in construction, including a hazard alert (English and Spanish) and toolbox talk (English and Spanish).
Noise: CPWR developed a program to raise awareness of noise hazards and ways to prevent hearing loss. The program includes modules that can be used on their own or as part of OSHA 10- or 30-hour classes, and a series of short exercises that can be used in classroom or hands-on training sessions.

- The Building Industry Association of Hawaii developed training materials on construction safety and health injury prevention programs.
- The Workers Defense Fund developed training materials in English and Spanish on cranes, excavation, struck-by/caught-between, and hazard recognition and avoidance.
- The Workers Defense Fund developed training materials in English and Spanish on confined spaces and fire prevention.
Silica/Heat Stress
- The State Building Construction Trades Council of California developed training materials in English and Spanish on silica, including a presentation, Jeopardy game, and poster.
- The University of South Florida developed training materials on silica.
- Wayne State University developed training materials in English and Spanish on silica.
- The University of Puerto Rico developed training materials in English and Spanish on silica and heat stress.
Healthcare
- Miami Dade College developed training materials in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole on bloodborne pathogens, safe patient handling, and employer responsibilities in protecting temporary workers.
Poultry Processing and Meatpacking
- The Georgia Tech Research Institute developed training materials in English and Spanish for workers in the poultry processing and meatpacking industries.
- The Western North Carolina Workers' Center developed a workplace health and safety manual on poultry processing that covers topics including worker rights, PPE, ergonomics, and body mapping.
Warehouses
- Michigan State University developed training materials in English and Spanish on material handling and storage, hazard communication, ergonomics, electrical safety, respiratory protection, and lockout/tagout.
- Western Nebraska Community College developed training materials on pallet racking operations, material handling equipment, and machine guarding and energy isolation.
