          A New Learning Opportunity for Correctional Frontline Staff

 Now available from the National Institute of Corrections (NIC) is the Frontline Learning Center, a new online training opportunity created for corrections line staff. Correctional officers, detention officers, probation and parole officers, reentry specialists, and correctional health professionals are eligible.
 

Features

 
Like all other NIC training, Frontline e-courses are available at no cost to eligible corrections staff. Upon account approval, students receive a 60-day pass and can take as many e‑courses as they choose within that time. For each successfully completed course, students receive a certificate of completion and a transcript. Access to 24/7 technical support is also available.

Over 80 E-courses

The Frontline Learning Center offers over 80 e-courses covering corrections topics, communication, and leadership. Courseware includes Interpersonal Communication Skills with Correctional Offenders, Offender Workforce Development, and Jails courses.
