Resources for Victims of Domestic Abuse

Your service member may be forced to stay at home or in close proximity to an abuser due to the coronavirus disease 2019.

If they have expressed concern that their partner makes them feel unsafe or afraid, help is available through the Family Advocacy Program. Encourage them to speak to a victim advocate or call the National Domestic Violence Hotline 24/7 at 800-799-7233.

Sponsorship Awareness for Moving MilFams

Moving military families can view the new MilLife Learning online course to learn about the sponsorship program. A military sponsor can help a family prepare for their move, and show them around so they feel at home in their new duty station.
