Military Friends and Family Support

Welcome to the inaugural edition of Military OneSource’s Friends & Family Connection eNewsletter — a newsletter written specifically for a service member’s network of support.

Who is part of a service member’s network of support? It is you — the service member’s extended family — parent, fiancé, aunt, uncle, cousin, sister, brother or close friend. It is whoever a service member turns to or can count on for support.

As a member of their friends and family network, you may feel immense pride for your service member answering the call to duty but be concerned or curious about what they’re experiencing.

You may have questions such as:
What happens at boot camp?
Why does the military move families so frequently?
What is deployment like?
How can I send packages to someone overseas for the holidays?

We hear you. Through this newsletter, we will begin answering these questions and more.

So, subscribe today to get information on all aspects of military life and stay connected with your service member. And feel free to share this newsletter with family and friends of a service member you know.
