Marine Corps Cpl. Kyle Reid practices his 100-meter freestyle stroke at the pool during the 2014 Marine Corps Trials on Camp Pendleton, Calif., March 10, 2014. Athletes compete in archery, cycling, shooting, swimming, track, field, sitting volleyball and wheelchair basketball. The event is an eight-sport paralympic-style invitational made up of wounded, ill and injured Marines and international wounded warriors.

U.S. sailors and Marines scrub the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman in the Gulf of Oman, March 9, 2014. The Truman is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility to conduct maritime security operations, supporting theater security cooperation efforts and Operation Enduring Freedom.
